"Exceptional customer service"

I am not given to reviews, usually I pay for something and get it , job done. However this weekend my expectations were massively exceeded so i had to write one.

i bought a new board from these guys a couple of weeks ago, and only tried it for the first time on sunday night. Popped it in the river at my house, got on and was too low in the water for my liking. Ok I thought, I'll take it back and swap it for a bigger board.

As i was taking it out of the water i dinged it on something, not sure what but it made a small hole in the gel coat. Classic I thought, 10 minutes and this is going to cost me dearly.

I took the board back on Monday, expecting at best a bill for a repair.

Actually they took it back, gave me a credit for the whole board, no fee. and suggested i come to the Roadford resevoir try out weekend, where I could try dozens of boards and choose one I liked more.

thats customer service..
